Infant Policies

Shoes: Infants spend a portion of their time on the floor on a blanket. They put everything in their mouth. As a precaution, we ask anyone entering the room to remove their shoes to prevent dirt and germs from the parking lot being transferred to infants.

Pictures: We ask that you bring a picture of your family members with your child to put up on the wall to make it easy to identify persons authorized to pick them up.

Diaper Bags: If possible, please leave the diaper bag at the center. Anytime a

diaper bag leaves the facility, a staff member is required to check it prior to you leaving your child for items that are prohibited by State Licensing (such as hand sanitizer, over the counter medications, adult medications, etc.) 

Car Seat Carriers: If possible, please leave your car seat carrier in the car. 

There is not much room in the hallway and when children walk by they touch them and transfer germs, not to mention the dust and dirt that comes in. 

Playground: Licensing requires children to go outside one hour a day weather

permitting. Normally the time is split between mornings and afternoons. There is a variety of age appropriate slides, climbing structures and push cars to play with. 

Naptime:  Children are required to be at daycare by 10:00 a.m.  Children are not allowed to come in while other children are sleeping because they may wake them up. Parents of children who were absent in the morning may drop them off in the afternoon if needed.
