Items Needed

The following are items that all toddlers need:

* Diapers and Wipes (Labeled)

* Extra Clothes (2 changes to be kept at the center) (Labeled)

* Tissues 

Reminders: Each month there will be a reminder on the door to bring wipes and tissues. 

Labels: Children may have similar items, therefore, we ask that all items be labeled with a sharpie (for clothes, they can be labeled on tags) so they can be differentiated. 

Diapers & Wipes: Teachers will notify parents in advance when needing additional diapers or wipes. Parents who fail to supply their infant or toddler with disposable diapers will be charged an additional diaper/wipe fee, or will be asked to bring diapers to the center when the child runs out. If diapers are not brought, parents will be asked to pick the child up. We do notshare diapers with other children.

Blankets: Tender Loving Care provides blankets and sheets for naptime. Sheets and blankets are washed weekly. If you prefer, your child can bring his/her own small-crib blanket. It will be washed with the other blankets each week. 

Shoes: Each day that weather permits, children go outside to play. Even though the playground has astroturf, pecans and pecan shells fall from the tree and can hurt their feet. 

Coats: Since children are required to go outside each day, (weather permitting), please make sure they have a coat or jacket to wear. 

Family Pictures: We ask parents to bring a few family photos for the teachers to use in the classroom so that they can become familiar with those who may be picking up the child each day. This also allows the child to see the photos of a familiar face or family pet.
